Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Coordination of all system security activities associated to the Galileo Second Generation G2G, in liaison with the G2G System Engineering Team, Establishing the System Security Baseline for the Galileo Second Generation inline with the Mission Level Security Requirements MRDSSRS, Definition of the Security Architecture for G2G Defining and Followingup the security activities performed by the System Support Contractor, Performing the security tradeoff to improve the System security robustness and the Public Regulated Service PRS with respect to the Galileo first generation, Performing and maintaining the System Security Risk analysis for G2G, Proposing an incremental implementation of the G2G security baseline within the Galileo Programme, Acting as the coChairman of the System Technical Board where the technical changes are discussed and approved Participating to ESA and EU working groups dealing with space security matters, and in particular with the Galileo Security Board Working Groups, when Galileo Second Generation topics are addressed Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Demonstrated experience related to GNSS System with more than 5 years of demonstrated experience working in System and Security Engineering. Experience in System and Security Engineering Satellite Navigation Fluency in English, both in speech and writing, with excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills Selfmotivation, ability to work in international teams distributed throughout Europe Tools Experience MS Office Tools Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, VISIO, DOORS requirements management MODAF Tools Modelling Ability to have or obtain personal security clearance from the national security authority. The following skills would be highly desirable Experience dealing with security components and environments Capability for travelling within Europe Ability to multitask efficiently working on multiple activities, multiple subsystems and if applicable multiple missions simultaneously. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Management of the issues arising from External penetration testing, auditing and ITHC activities. Interfacing with engineering and deployment teams to identify Penetration Test mitigations and overseeing their deployment to the operational environment. Security testing of the production and validation environments to assure deployment of mitigations. Liaison with external Testing companies to procure validation tests. Definition of lockdowns, specification of validation for lockdown. Security guidance to the other engineering groups and subcontractors Technical Assessment of vulnerabilities and their impacts application, system, operational then consultation on resolution. Support to verification, including definition and execution of test procedures Activities as directed by the Security Manager. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory At least 3 years experience in a dedicated security role. Technology Linux Bash, Nessus, Wireshark, NMAP. At least 3 years on a large government, or similar scale project.
