In line with our strategic focus on security, we have an opportunity for an Information Security Engineer to be based within our Generic Systems and Infrastructure Division. You will supervise, coordinate, implement and assess the information security for all of EUMETSATs operations. You will be part of a growing team of security professionals assigned to ensure our infrastructure and computer systems are robust and safe, now and in the future. In this role you will supervise, coordinate and verify the implementation of the Information Security Management System ISMS for all EUMETSAT systems, including building infrastructure, network, storage, computers and software. You will also support the implementation of security measures across the whole of our organization and advise our Security Team about implementing a fast reaction capability to any identified threat or vulnerability. The ability to be proactive in the management of risks and the identification of pragmatic solutions is central to being successful in this role. Additionally you should have the skills to assess any proposed changes and ensure that there is no security risk to our organisation. Along with a university degree in a relevant discipline, such as Computer and Network Security, you will have indepth knowledge and proven experience of ISOIEC 27001 27002 security solutions and architectures for computer networks, computer systems and application software defining securityrelated requirements conducting security audits and ethical hacking on operational systems You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills including experience in leading a small team. We are looking for a resilient selfstarter, with an ability to manage their workload autonomously. You need to be methodical and organised in your approach to work, with an eye for detail.
