A vacancy for a Supply Chain Quality Manager mf has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Toulouse. You will join the supply quality organization department and will lead the supply quality activities related to the telecoms and earth observations satellite business. As such you will be accountable for all quality aspects within the supply chain, working closing with the SOM and the SDM. In this context, your main tasks and responsibilities will include Evaluatingassessingauditing supplier and WP risk and implementing mitigation actions with suppliers, Contributing to the supplier selection and approval process, Negotiating, validating and checking the application of the quality plan with subsystemequipment subcontractors, Ensuring that the quality requirements are taken into account by the subcontractor and are passed down to all subtier contractors in line with AIRBUS requirements, Defining the Quality Surveillance Plans including the Advanced Product Quality Plan and leading the Supplier Quality Improvement Plan when necessary and proposing optimisations as well as development missions when possible, Managing and handling instances of nonquality, ensuring systematic root cause analysis, proper second and third closure, in coordination with the Supplier Operations Managers, Running SNCR Supplier NonConformity Review review boards to ensure there is regular planned approach towards SNCR management and not just firefighting. From these reviews, identifying and proposing opportunities which help with the cost of nonquality, Supporting the business as a contributor and representative of the supply chain during external certification audits. You will lead these activities in close cooperation with the other members of the procurement multifunctional teams as well as the space system business line stakeholders This role will involve some travel for business twice a month worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Engineering degree level or equivalent, or business degree level, 3 years of experience in quality process deployment andor equipment supply chainprocurement management, Knowledge of Quest, APQP, etc. would be a real plus, Good communication and negotiation skills, Autonomy, Advanced level of English and intermediate level of French. Experiences in the area of product and quality assurance ideally in Space business. Sure linguistic proficiency English in word and writing and ideally knowledge in German language. Team ability, flexibility. Knowledge in optics manufacturing would be an advantage. Distinctive knowledge in MS office.
