Quality Assurance Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Driven by an extensive and pioneering technology programme, our prestigious customer in the UK has made a breakthrough in aerospace propulsion technology that will allow the development of engines capable of propelling aircraft to over five times the speed of sound or directly into Earth orbit. As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Accountable for the development, operation and maintenance of the Quality Management System QMS Reporting to the Board on QA matters you will be responsible for expanding the existing QMS to cover all aspects of the Companys business from hardware design, manufacture and testing to software development Working with internal and external group and staff to ensure successful implementation of quality assurance policies, plans and procedures Undertaking internal and supplier quality audits Planning, implementation and monitoring of corrective measures from audit findings Working with and managing external auditors Organising and providing training on the QMS to the Companys Staff Managing the Quality Management team and leading recruitment of team members in line with the growth of the Company. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Bachelors degree in engineering or science Extensive QA experience in the aerospace andor space sector is essential Experience in implementation and use of and ISO 9001200 Experience with quality tools, including root cause and corrective action and process auditing Strong interpersonal, time management and leadership skills Excellent oral and written communications skills with staff at all levels Fluency in English is mandatory. Quality Assurance Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is the European agency in charge of managing the European satellite navigation programs, Galileo and EGNOS. As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Preparing, implement and followup of internal audits Supporting inhouse training activities on quality management Maintaining the Quality Management System QMS documentation Reviewing other documents produced by GSA from a quality management perspective Supporting the development of procedures and work instructions Maintaining the processes related to Anomaly Reporting Recording and synthesising customer feedback and data on corrective and preventive actions Collating and analyse qualityrelated indicator reports Collecting other relevant data to allow for evaluation of the effectiveness of the QMS Assisting in the maintenance of Risk Management activities Assisting in the establishment of an Integrated Management System including Information Security and Safety Management Gap analysis and action plan proposals Implementation other actions required to maintain quality certification to the IS0 9001 standard Inputs as qualityrelated help desk for the GSA Quality Team Compilation and analysis of nonconformances, anomalies and problems, reporting results to Heads of Units and the Quality Team, and maintaining database records Collection of data to allow for evaluation of the effectiveness of the QMS as a whole Support the analysis of external standards for incorporation into the GSA IMS Ensuring the proper filing and documentation process of NonConformance Reports Maintaining a repository of QMrelevant documentation on the intranet Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in a relevant discipline Several years of professional experience in Quality Assurance management Excellent knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
