Callisto is seeking to recruit a satellite communications engineer experienced in satellite Ground Stations to join a team of engineers working in Darmstadt Germany. Candidates must be University qualified to at least firstdegree level and with at least 5 years professional experience in relevant to the areas of expertise listed below. Ground station system design for TTC and payload operations Ground station tracking antennas and RF subsystems LEO and GEO applications Ground station baseband subsystems including modulationdemodulation and coding. Satellite operations maintenance including command, control and tracking using remote MC. Space communications systems and protocols including ECSS and CCDSD standards for space communications including SLE. Systems engineering including maintenance and upgrades. Special operations e.g. LEOP, IOT In addition, experience in several of the following areas would be advantageous High rate data communications satelliteterrestrial In Orbit Tests Radar Simulations The candidates shall be able to demonstrate a good level of communication skills in English language and shall be computer literate. Short listed candidates will be subject to background security checks and references will be required. Candidates shall have European EU nationality or have already obtained all necessary permits to be able to reside and work in the EU.
