Job description For our customer, EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany, we are seeking an experienced EndtoEnd Instrument Chains Performance Engineer to support the future EUMETSAT Polar System Second Generation EPSSG space programme. The activities will be related to endtoend instrument processing chains activities, from acquisition of signals by instruments on board the MetOpSG satellites up to dissemination of derived products to endusers by the ground segment. The focus of the work is EndtoEnd E2E mission performance allocations and budgeting, instrument data processing specifications and enduser product validation, for all mission instruments. You will be interacting with the EPSSG System Team in the Low Earth Orbit Division LEO at EUMETSAT and will support tasks as specification, design, procurement, integration and verification of onground data processing elements. The coordination with EPSSG instrument team and science team involved in these activities plays a key role.
