Altice France raises FY objectives, as EBITDA growth accelerates to 10% in Q2

(Telecompaper) Altice Europe raised its FY operating free cash flow guidance and the revenue/EBITDA outlook for its French operations, as it said that the group's operational turnaround was bearing fruit. Altice France reported revenues of EUR 2.60 billion in the second quarter, up 4.0 percent year-on-year (-1.2% in Q1), while adjusted EBITDA rose 10.1 percent to EUR 1.08 billion (+4.6% in Q1).

KPN raises FY outlook after rise in Q2 EBITDA

(Telecompaper) Dutch operator KPN reported second-quarter revenues down 3.1 percent to EUR 1.359 billion, hurt by the continued decline in legacy services, mobile price pressure and lower equipment revenues. A reduction in costs led to a 3.6 percent increase in EBITDA to EUR 594 million for the period.

Tele2 Q2 revenue drops 2%, underlying EBITDA rises 3% as Com Hem consolidation progresses

(Telecompaper) Tele2 has reported a 2 percent decline in second quarter group revenue to SEK 6.79 billion, with end-user service revenue falling by 1 percent to SEK 5.08 billion. Net profit was SEK 2.1 billion, boosted by the capital gain from the sale in Kazakhstan but dented by goodwill impairment in Estonia. In Sweden, the Com Hem integration is progressing, and it reached its FY run-rate synergy target after only six months.

Sunrise raises FY adjusted EBITDA guidance after 13% growth in Q1

(Telecompaper) Swiss operator Sunrise has recorded Q1 revenues of CHF 447 million, down 2.6 percent from Q1 2018, because of lower hubbing and hardware sales. Service revenue increased by 2.7 percent, driven by customer momentum and B2B. Adjusted EBITDA including IFRS 16 was up by 13.2 percent to CHF 158 million. The total mobile subscriber base in Q1 reached nearly 2.37 million, with 13,000 net additions in Q1.

Bouygues Telecom continues growth trend momentum, Q1 EBITDA up 20%

(Telecompaper) French operator Bouygues Telecom has posted first-quarter revenues of EUR 1.45 billion, up 13 percent year-on-year. Ongoing customer gains supported a rise in service revenues, which increased 6 percent to EUR 1.09 billion (+4% in Q4).
