Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Providing support to the Ground Segment Manager for the configuration control of the SSA Ground Segment components Providing expert support to tender evaluations as appointed by the Ground Segment Manager Providing support to the Ground Segment Manager in the generation of reports, articles, news, and in general input required for the reporting to higher management levels Supporting the Configuration Control of the SSA Ground Segment, according to the procedures applicable to the SSA Programme Providing secretarial support to the SSA Configuration Control Board Acting as front line toward the segment managers and their operational teams for their requests for HW andor SW changes, driving from either systems malfunctions or functionality updates Maintaining the database of nonconformances and change requests Interfacing with the systems developers Ground Segment SW Engineers, External SW andor HW Developers as required during the entire developments lifecycle Interface with the SSA IT team as needed Report on the activities executed in the framework of the specific WPs In addition, you will be required to oversee a number of IT Engineering tasks, notably Providing support to the Ground Segment Manager for the development and definition of the SSA workplans Acting as front line support for the analysis, definition and implementation of IT solutions required during the development and implementation of the SSA Ground Segment. Note that the specific installation on the development, test and operational platforms will be performed by thee SSA ICT Team Interfacing with the SSA segment management groups for the activities that pertain to the IT infrastructure under maintenance and operations in the SSA Ground Segment Interfacing with the SSA development teams as required during the entire SW development lifecycle Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience University Degree in Engineering, Informatics, Physics or equivalent Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in the design and procurement of SW applications and or systems engineering Previous experience in managing andor maintaining SW under Configuration Control Strong expertise with SW development andor Configuration Control tools Willingness to work in a collaborative, multinational environment Excellent communication skills, with a strong fluency in spoken and written English Ability to work and perform tasks with minimal supervision How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
