Supply Chain Lead Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of a hightech European developer and manufacturer of satellite attitude and orbit control subsystems, propulsion and thermal subsystems and components, you will have the following responsibilities Definition, implementation and management of the Supply Chain Process and structure in lieu of the company process The SCL is responsible for an effective purchasing and procurement process Purchasing Record the need and propose an acquisition strategy Send RFQ to suppliers Evaluate the suppliers response and negotiate with the selected ones Prepare and send the POContract Procurement Manage supplier deliverables per POContract up to the acceptance of delivered goods Assess the supplier performance Assess the Supply Chain performance Responsible for lead time, Long Term Agreements with Suppliers, new supplier selection and rating and identification of a 2nd source supplier strategy Manage the distribution and storage process of purchased items The SCL will maintain an overview on inventory, the needs related to facilities and production tools by means of a facility management system. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in relevant field Extensive experience in mechanical purchase is mandatory Possess purchasing skills and experience in the areas of negotiation of contracts with suppliers Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. Polyester intermediate prices continue moving into different directions. Paraxylene and PTA prices remain firm, although downward polyester prices are again falling. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Eastern Asia and in India, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono-ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. Asian Contract Prices (ACPs) are also available for the PX, PTA and MEG markets in Asia, with 5-year charts and downloadable historical data.
