Spun yarn prices could now stabilize in China after having sharply fallen in the last weeks on the domestic and import markets. Fiber prices are bottoming out whereas yarn production has been reduced amid a falling demand. Polyester chain prices have stayed relatively firm in the last week, with PTA and MEG even slightly recovering in the last days. Demand is bottoming out from textile producers after polyester prices have fallen to very competitive levels.
