The mission is to measure seasurface topography, sea and landsurface temperature and ocean and landsurface colour with highend accuracy and reliability in support of ocean forecasting systems, and for environmental and climate monitoring. The first of two Sentinel3 spacecraft is planned to be launched in mid2015. The Challenge We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer for Mission Control System Support, to be located at the customers site, EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany. The main area of responsibility of this position is for supporting to the evolution and maintenance of the Sentinel3 Mission Control System. The Sentinel3 Mission Control System is built from MICONYS software components such as SCOS2000, FARC, PARC and NIS.
