Space Systems Product Assurance Engineer

Overall Purpose of the Job Product Assurance to support the delivery of space system hardware programmes and to support the quality requirements of the Space UK business Key Accountabilities The coordination and monitoring of quality control activities relating to space hardware assembly, integration and testing, to ensure that products comply with defined standards and that customer product specifications are met. Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a space composite product technical manager for its TEE53 Launcher Product Engineering department based in Les Mureaux. Within the Space Systems branch of Airbus Defence and Space, the Engineering Equipment and Services Design Office is in charge of the design and justification of space products, mainly for composite materials such as satellite antenna reflectors for which Airbus Defence and Space is European leader and launcher structures SYLDA5, dispensers, etc.. The Design Office also provides support during the manufacturing and supply of material and data packs to internal or external customers. The Engineering Equipment and Services Design Office is looking for a subsystem engineer to take complete technical responsibility for a product. As part of a dynamic team, you will ensure the technical performance of the product under your responsibility, throughout its development and manufacturing. You are able to integrate and summarise complex issues. You have a good sense of initiative and have a convincing approach.
