We are urgently seeking candidates to fill roles in AIT engineering with an RF specialisation Essential Skills 2 years experience in test and integration of RF front end systems for high reliability systems aviation or aerospace systems. Experience with test equipment Network, Spectrum Analysers or RF SCOEs. Experience with digital modulations, Transponder and Amplifier RF Hardware. Proactive with proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationship. To identify the need for new measurement methods where procedures do not cover the exact nature of testing being carried out. To prepare test reports as laid down in procedures. Desirable Skills Software Programming C, Java, Elisa Experience with ground station HW and operation. A good theoretical andor practical knowledge of electronic systems design Experience with TTC systems, space modulations and high datarate links. Experience with waveguide and coaxial components. For this longterm, onsite position for our clients location in Friedrichshafen, South Germany, we are looking for an AIT Engineer with experience in Attitude Orbit Control Systems AOCS and Failure Detection Recovery FDIR verification tests. In this position you will support the Assembly Integration and Test AIT department in a selfreliant manner. Senior AIT EGSE Engineer

An opportunity has arisen to Join the Electrical Test Department within Airbus Defence and Space as an AIT EGSE Lead Engineer. A highly motivated and competent electrical engineer is required for a senior role as part of a highly skilled team of electrical engineers responsible for procurement, commissioning and maintenance of bespoke test equipment for integration and automated testing of nonflight and flight spacecraft hardware and software from unit to system configuration. In addition, you shall be responsible for coordinating all project specific EGSE tasks and direct a junior engineer with the guidance of the project specific AIT Electrical Lead and Dept Functional Manger in accordance with Electrical Test Services department processes. This role is to be based in Stevenage but will include some European travel for extended periods during the Project. You will be responsible for the following areas EGSE Procurement Preparation of detailed technical requirement specifications, produced from spacecraft test requirements, for use by test equipment suppliers for production of bespoke test systems to support the integration and test of the spacecraft. Provide technical support from procurement to delivery of the EGSE systems. EGSE Commissioning and Validation Configure and commission a dedicated small EGSE LAN for interconnection of all the EGSE TCPIP, network topology, IP addressing. Commissioning and decommissioning, setup, shipment support and validation of EGSE systems at both local and offsite spacecraft test locations. EGSE Maintenance Carry out preventative maintenance validation activities, by executing validation procedures. Carry out corrective maintenance activities first line support, including fault finding to component level Provide configuration and control of EGSE documentation and software using company and bespoke processes and systems. Configuration and control of the EGSE systems and user software To provide technical inputs to formal project reviews. Furthermore, you will be monitoring the completeness of all AIT AIV activities up to launch in accordance with an agreed launch operations plan. Ideal candidate You should have a Master degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or at least 4 years of equivalent experience. Furthermore you should bring the following Extensive experience of satellite system level functional and performance testing Good knowledge of GSE operations and infrastructure Practical experience of working in AIT ideally for at least one complete satellite test campaign in an AIT role. Experience of environmental test campaigns preparation would be a major asset Experience in optics andor thermal system control engineering would be an asset Experience with CCS based on SCOS2000 SW Experience of satellite verification engineering Knowledge of ECSS standards in system engineering, testing and verification Good interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse team environment An ability to work independently and to establish good working relations with ESA and industrial counterparts is essential Available to travel and work on shifts during mechanical and thermal test campaigns.
