Responsibilities Attract contracts by managing or supporting customer requests for proposal RFP, comprised of activities such proposal team set up and management, technical and financial proposal preparation, and contract negotiation Deliver projects and services to SES customers within budget, specification and on time Awareness and evaluation of relevant technological developments, market trends, competitive factors, customer requirements, standardisation licensing and regulatory aspects Either support or be responsible to o Design and implementation of softwarecomputer infrastructure andor modifications to comply with specific customer requirements such as their standards, interfaces and software and hardware technologies o Design of innovative satellite networks andor network elements o Interface customer and collect requirements for the setup of budgets, procurements, installation management and the operational handover of systems o Procure equipment, software and services necessary to build the infrastructure at customer premises and manage shipment o Supervise specification, design, and development work necessary for project implementation, including project control functions o Followup of delivered systems during lifetime operations o Interface and engage with external partners e.g. customers, NGOs, Government bodies, investment partners, vendors, shareholders, etc. and present our solutions at exhibitions, trade shows and lectures. Experience Qualifications Have a university degree Telecommunications, SystemsSoftware Engineering, or equivalent Have min. 5 years of applicable professional experience in engineering and implementing of telecommunications systems A Master of Business Administration MBA or comparable degree, is seen as an asset Systems engineering experience on satellite to ground communication means Ability to think strategically and out of the box to meet customer requirements Knowledge of software specification, design, implementation, verification and validation Knowledge of data centre management systems Knowledge of network architecture with emphasis on IP routing, QOS and endtoend communication Knowledge of the satellite technologies and satellite based communication VSAT Be able to integrate into andor lead crossfunctional andor virtual project teams Have good communication capabilities, analytical sense, innovative spirit, business mind, selfstarting qualities, coordination and priority setting abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Fluent in English and another language of the EMEA region. You will independently complete and plan with supervision thermal analyses and test activities to demonstrate achievement of thermal control system requirements. With guidance, you will lead analyst for up to medium sized project. You will apply knowledge and experience of thermal analysis and test tasks as to select and justify thermal analysis tools, methods and process. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Work to specification with correct interpretation of thermal requirements. With proven understanding of thermal analysis principles and expected performance, complete and occasionally supervise others in analyses. Confirms and at times supervises the role and responsibilities of the thermal analysis function, standards of work and data management. As part of multidisciplinary team, ensure configuration detailed design incorporates key features necessary to enable subsystem, design for manufacture, integration and required hardware reuse. Ensure thermal testing achieves hardware qualification or acceptance, and quantify effectiveness of analysis and any prior correlation. Monitor identified thermal testing, complete posttest assessment and correlation activities. The authoring and at times checking of clear and concise thermal analysis reporting, demonstrating the understanding of thermal behaviours and compliance. Technical presentation of analysis and test results, observations and conclusions to experts and at formal reviews. Prepares and maintains plans, work package descriptions, schedules and risks as to ensure tasks activities are completed on time, on quality and on cost. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Degree in Engineering or similar related discipline with Thermal working background within the AerospaceSpace industry. Strong experience with ESATANTMS or Thermica is mandatory. Good understanding of Thermal System, Subsystem or Equipment environment, Design drivers, Design and Functional Requirements validated by Analysis and Test. Developed understanding of Thermal Analysis Techniques, Methods and Principles. Developed knowledge and experience in the application of Thermal Analysis Software tools and the management of Simulation data. Practised in following work plans and cost estimates.
