The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says a man charged in a fatal 2015 stabbing at an Abbotsford gas station has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and sentenced to five years in prison.

A Fremont man was sentenced to a year in county jail and ordered to pay more than $400,000 in restitution on March 25 in Hayward after pleading guilty to charges alleging elder financial abuse and grand theft regarding real estate, according to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office.
