RHEA is currently recruiting a Modelling and Simulation Engineer to support the System Modeling Functional Verification Section at our clients premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Modelling of systems including spacecraft, ground segment and other required auxiliary systems in support of system design and verification. Modelling of system of systems in support of system and enterprise architecting. Definition and validation of metamodels methodologies in support of system modelling activities. Integration and verification of industrial elements in the end to end performance scenario. Provide technical support to projects and end users in the domain of AIT and AIV. Isolate software problems, report and develop patches for section supported methods and tools. Evaluate needs and generate requirements for enhancements. Evaluate relevant new methods, tools and standards for the domains covered. Provide technical support for detailed definition of flight operations authoring and viewer tools and products for crewed missions. Maintain the corresponding tools and infrastructure. Endtoend performance simulators for space missions, in terms of the related simulator development software, processor development for data products and formalisation of corresponding simulator architectures in the areas of Earth Observation and Space Science System modelling in support of formalising the system description subject to evaluation. Support to the requirements engineering and the subsequent verification and validation activities at system and software level Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent At least 4 years of practical experience of performance simulators and system modelling Experience of simulator development, functional and performance Background in data processor development Knowledge of system modelling with formal methods e.g. SysML Experience in system requirements and verification engineering Good knowledge of related methods and tools An ability to work independently and to establish good working relations is essential.
