Project Manager Officer PMO

RHEA is currently recruiting a Project Manager Officer PMO support with direct implication on the EGNOS project for our clients premises in Prague, Czech Republic. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the exploitation programme for planning, scheduling and analysis, including integration of schedules, identification and resolution of schedule and planning conflicts, generation of alerts, development of project critical paths and EVM aspects use of Microsoft Project Support the exploitation programme for risk management and analysis, including risk identification, assessment and response planning, development and maintenance of overall risk register and risk mitigation plans, as well as arranging regular risk review meetings, and integration of risks within planning and scheduling activities as appropriate Support the exploitation for quality and ISO certification related activities including quality indicators reporting, configuration and document management, as well as maintenance of coordination baseline status and management of exploitation documents. Cost engineering further development and maintenance of exploitation cost engineering capabilities and database, including use of specific IT tools, analysis of exploitation costs, providing support in developing the financial acceptability criteria for the future suppliers economic proposals. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Master Degree in the relevant discipline At least 35 years of relevant working experience Participation in project management during the last 4 years for a minimum of 2 projects, each involving parties from at least 2 different EU Member States. Project management experience shall include the ability to synthesize relevant information in support of decision making processes, andor quality assurance experience in drafting reports and management recommendations. Direct project control experience schedule maintenance, risk registers, meeting organisation, project milestones and associated dependencies, critical path analysis gained in the last 4 years for a minimum of 2 projects, each involving at least 3 parties from at least 2 different EU Member States. The experience may have been gained in the projects informed about under the previous bullet or other projects. The capacity to work and communicate efficiently in English written and oral. PDGS specification through the generation of the PDGS specification Documents PDGS System Requirements Document, PDGS System Architecture Document, PDGS Operations Concept Document, Interface Control Documents, SubSystems High Level Requirements Coordination of the acceptance by the PDGS Project of PDGS external CFIs Generation of technical notes whenever needed during the Project lifetime Operations of the various supporting tools e.g. Documentation Management System Participation to Space, Ground Segment and PDGS reviews organised either by ESA or by Industry Support the PDGS Project Manager in evaluating the results of the PDGS Integration and Validation activity Support for the Ground Segment Overall Validation Support for the management of the operators training and preparation of operational documentation Definition and documentation of the PDGS Commissioning Implementation Plan Support the PDGS Project Manager in the preparation of the launch and the implementation of rehearsal activities Support the PDGS Project Manager in the management of PDGS Operations, system behaviour monitoring and reporting during commissioning Adhoc development of tools for the accomplishment of the PDGS engineering, testing and validation, etc. You may be required to travel on mission onbehalf of the Agency from 2 to 12 missions per year may be required depending on the project phase. Ideal candidate Requirements You should bring a University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably engineer or in Remote Sensing, at least 10 years of working experience and the following Project management experience, preferably in the field of Earth Observation Ground Segment Development Experience on ground segments implementation, in particular on Analysis and definition of PDGS system requirements Design of PDGS system Development of Payload Data Ground Segments subsystems Definition and execution of system integration, verification and validation activities Analysis and estimation of system performances System and Software anomalies management reporting, analysis, classification and resolution. Knowledge of SAR principles and technique and experience with Instruments Processors development Knowledge of the ECSS standards and, as an asset, documentation and configuration control management techniques.
