PLL Synthesizer suits satellite communications.

Operating from 1,990–2,030 MHz with 1 MHz step size, Model PCA2010A-LF provides phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and can be programmed through 3-wire serial interface. Frequency synthesizer delivers typical output power of 3 dBm in to 50 Ω load while operating off single supply voltage of 5 Vdc and consuming 40 mA. Measuring 0.50 x 0.50 x 0.13 in., RoHS-compliant device operates from -40 to 70°C with PLL spurious and 2nd harmonic suppression of -70 and -15 dBc, respectively. Nilesat takes multiple transponders on EUTELSAT 8 West B satellite

Callisto is an international engineering consultancy and equipment development company in the field of satellite communications. Founded in 1993 with presence in the UK, France and Germany, Callisto has undertaken a wide range of engineering consulting projects, building a enviable reputation as a highly skilled partner to satellite operators, integrators and equipment manufacturers. Callisto has been working with EUMETSAT for over 20 years and has contributed to all of the major programmes of his organisation to date MTP, MSG, EPS, MTG and EPS SG. Callisto is a small engineering company depending on team spirit, valuing and investing in our employees development and oriented towards a culture of quality and efficiency which is good for our clients and good for our staff. Callisto provides employment contracts conforming to German labour legislation. Every application will be treated in strict confidence. Callisto are looking to recruit a number of Systems Engineers to fill various positions within Eumetsat working on both geostationary and polar orbit satellite programs and will involve working as a consultant engineer on the design and implementation of a complex ground segment for one of Europes flagship space projects for the 21st century. The European Polar System Second Generation EPSSG and other programs such as Jason and Sentinel will be challenging programmes requiring the best engineers that Europe can muster. The systems and infrastructure engineering teams will handle the complex task of stitching together major functional elements and ensuring endtoend performance with large volumes of data flow. The positions will be covering expert support in several engineering areas and disciplines covering requirements, architectural design and technical definition of ground segment subsystems, performance, interfaces, procurement, integration and VV. Several positions are available to experienced ground system engineers with the correct background and qualifications. The profile of candidates we are seeking is as follows Qualified to higher university degree, Masters or PhD level in engineering or science. At least 5 years professional experience in space programmes. Experience in full lifecycle development for ground segment Experience of ground segments which are designed and developed taking advantage of reuse of existing generic infrastructure and functional elements System engineering practices and experience on AIV specification and planning for large and complex satellite ground segments Experience in control and management of interfaces in large systems. Experience with the preparation and use of documents used to define system requirements and interfaces including methods and tools. Working as a team player in a multinational environment. Good communications skills using English as a working language. Good knowledge of Microsoft and other office products. Project planning and control MSproject and DOORS. Additionally, experience in the following would be considered an advantage Earth Observation LEO and GEO satellites. Experience with CORE Familiarity with ECSS standards We are seeking employees who are motivated and flexible who are available to start work in Germany in early 2015. Several positions are open with preferred start dates of late 2014 and very early 2015. The duration of the initial contracts will be either one year or 18 months extendable in yearly increments.
