Job Description What we offer if you join our amazing team Competitive Salary Corporate Benefits Package Exciting relocation package if applicable Company events Main Responsibilities As Ground Operation Engineer Service Team Coordinator you will join our future Flight Operation teams within Earth Observation service contract and will concentrate your activities on the following Be in charge of routine operations of the ground segment within FOS and participate in preparation phases of the mission Execution of operational procedures and special operations requests during all mission phases Responsible for assessing and resolving anomalies related to the Ground Segment relevant to the role Operational Procedure generationupdate under the strict configuration control Support the execution of Ground Segment and Satellite testing, and take the role of Test Coordinator Daily monitoring of the ground segment elements of responsibility to assess health and performances, and identify trends and anomalies Participation and execution of the tasks related to the ground segment during the LEOP, Commissioning and End of Mission campaigns. Maintenance and generation of relevant NOC procedures and maintaining FOS Ground segment documentations Deliver required training to the Network Operations team on request Be a Team Coordinator in the required area Successful Candidate Do you think you are the person we are looking for? RF Engineer Satellite Ground Stations

This is a fabulous opportunity for an individual with excellent communication skills in English, to work on a number of hugely interesting programmes. The scope of the role is wide ranging and includes both Validation and Ground Station Engineering Services. These can be broken down into tasks that include Review of compatibility verification matrix, test procedures and test results Definition and execution of the RF compatibility test plan and report Plan to configure, procure and validate a Network Data Interface Unit Maintain ESA Ground Station configurations Support ESA Ground Station upgrades from validation to handover of operations We would expect you to have an excellent telecommunication engineering knowledge including practical experience as an RF Engineer ideally at a Ground Station. Your knowledge of Ground Stations should be comprehensive and include architecture, subsystem maintenance, station performance, incident management and operations. You should also have experience of working in a configurationcontrolled environment and be able to produce technical reports to a high standard in the English language. The role will develop with different missions so we are looking for engineers who can demonstrate initiative and flexibility in a fastpaced environment, perhaps already familiar with the ESOC environment. Having a good understanding of RF compatibility tests, being familiar with ground station control processes, having some experience dealing with external interfaces and a familiarity with ground station maintenance and operations would all be considered advantageous. This Assembly Integration Verification expert will have the opportunity to share hisher experience in the field of Ground Segment AIT and AIV preparation, execution, and coordination activities. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Coordinate the GS AIV team during GS AIV preparation and execution. Support the ILSOPS Manager during the validation and commissioning and commissioning phases to address and solve GS issues. Ensure the complete verification of GS requirements in accordance with ECSS EST1002 standard through the Verification Control document at all levels GS, SS. Supervise the GS platform deployment either on premises or on cloud. Guarantee production and maintenance of test cases ion and procedures. Technical realisation and coordination of Payload Data Ground Segment engineering and AIV activities. Realizing and supervising subsystems design down to component level. Preparation of subsystems technical requirements specifications. Definition and justification of SS architecture, from concept to detailed design phase. Definition and control of SS technical interfaces, internal and external towards space and launch segments. Engineering budgets and SS performance. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar academic cursus.
