Cotton prices have rebounded in the past week on the international market, over relatively firm demand from spinning mills in yarn emerging countries, like Vietnam or Bangladesh. Prices have also recovered in India whereas remaining very high in Pakistan. China is waiting for its imminent sales from state reserves. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Apple eyes moving 15-30% of production out of China - report

(Telecompaper) Apple has asked its major suppliers to evaluate the cost implications of shifting 15-30 percent of their production capacity from China to Southeast Asia as it prepares for a fundamental restructuring of its supply chain, the Nikkei Asian Review reported. The moves comes in response to the escalating trade tensions between the US and China and sees Apple looking to reduce its reliance on manufacturing in China for the long term.

Dish close to deal for USD 6 bln in T-Mobile, Sprint assets - report

(Telecompaper) Dish Network is in talks to pay at least USD 6 billion for assets that T-Mobile US and Sprint are selling to win regulatory approval for their merger, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg. Dish could announce a deal as soon as this week for assets including spectrum and Sprint's Boost Mobile brand, the report said.
