Textile Fiber Price Comparison (Monthly Report)
2019-05-16 19:24:51| EmergingTextiles.com
Textile fiber prices have begun tumbling across the board on the international market and on domestic markets in Asia after US President Trump has decided raising import tariffs on a series of Chinese products. An already depressed textile market was actually betting on a sharp increase of China's buying of US cotton. The weakness of demand for textiles this year in China is now pushing down all fiber prices to lower levels, acrylic excepted. Our tables and charts offer a 3-month and 12-month price comparison of most used textile fibers, including cotton, polyester, viscose, wool, acrylic and nylon, all being available for download on a weekly basis through our historical csv file.

2019-05-16 19:24:51| EmergingTextiles.com
Flax fiber prices have further surged to record levels in the first quarter of the year, due to the development of linen apparel sales in the United States and Europe. Our report offers a comprehensive view of the international market prices, including China's flax fiber import prices and linen yarn export prices. China's import and export data in volume and value terms are also available for download on a monthly basis back to December 2012.
