The Modelling and Stimulation Engineer will be assigned to the System Modelling and Functional Verification section in the Software Systems Division. Systems, Software and InOrbit Demonstration Department. Directorate of Technical and Quality Management. The initial task will be performed for the Galileo Ground Mission Segment engineering Element Section, Ground Mission Segment Division, Ground Segment Department, Galileo Project Office. After appropriate familiarisation, the position will encompass the responsibility for the Operability Chain based on MUCF, MSF, GACF and VTP. Responsibilities and duties include in particular Ensuring the engineering, development, deployment, verification and validation of Galileo Operability Chain functions MUCF, MSF, VTP, GACF in the areas of monitoring control of Galileo assets, archiving, realtime and offline mission monitoring, mission uplink and control, mission support, training and maintenance. Ensuring the definition of interfaces and data formats for the data exchange of the Galileo Operability Chain Facilities. Objective To provide support to the section activities in the areas of system performance evaluation and system and architecture modelling.
