Currently, we are looking for a highly skilled GNSS and SBAS Tools Engineering Support who will work for Toulouse, in France. Specific Tasks The general responsibilities of the service will be handson technical support in the area of SW Simulation Modelling, sign, in particular for the development of an endtoend simulation environment representative of a full GNSS and SBAS signal processing chain. Specific tasks will include Task 1 Hands on technical support to the administration, management, development, installation, testing and critical assessment of the EGNOS Project Office System EndtoEnd System Performance Simulation Environment, including tools assessment and recommendations management and critical assessment of internal configuration of simulation tools. Task 2 Engineering Support to the preparation and validation of System Performance related Customer Furnished Items and delivery to EGNOS V2V3Evolutions Contractors Task 3 Development of addon modules and auxiliary scripts which should interface with the current EGNOS EndtoEnd Simulation Environment, focussing onDefinition of synthetic input scenarios which accounts for Stochastic modelling of external GNSS satellite SiS threats Modelling of the System environment and GNSS propagation signals Modelling of ionospheric propagation conditions and their effects on SBAS satellite navigation missions e.g. ionosphere temporal and spatial gradient, amplitude and phase scintillation Prototyping of GNSS and Augmentation related algorithms Data filtering and postprocessing of GNSS SIS processing outputs SBAS corrections safety integrity analysis both in the pseudorange and position domain GNSS SIS monitoring and EGNOS SIS Threat characterisation Task 4 Technical support in the definition of campaigns to serve RD and other EGNOS project needs e.g. for scintillation monitoring and GNSS SIS threat monitoring. Task 5 Engineering support to several projects, the service provider will attend project reviews for EGNOS e.g. V2V3 system and subsystem reviews at algorithm level Task 6 Engineering support to the GNSS standardisation process for what concerns System Performance analysis and simulations e.g. analysis of GPS and Galileo navigation messages. Requirements General skills Fluent English language oral and written Fluent in French language oral is desirable Autonomy in writing technical notes, specifications and reports in English Good inter personal skills and team spirit Previous working experience in a multinational environment Good knowledge of MS office tools Good knowledge of DOORs Organization, good practical sense, being able to work effectively in a team and be able to autonomously take decision in his field of responsibility Availability and willingness to travel for missions inside or outside Europe. Specific skills Masters degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, physics or Computer science with proven knowledge and experience in the fields of Algorithms, Navigation and related data. Knowledge and experience in EGNOS System environment modelling and performance related tools e.g. RDG, Ionospheric AzSTEC converters, Knowledge and experience in EGNOS SIS Threat modelling and characterisation Knowledge and experience in EGNOS system performance related design justification Knowledge and experience in the analysis, architecture and development of software based solutions, Knowledge and experience in Python, Java, C and Shell scriptingprogramming, Knowledge and experience in GNSS signals, receivers and RD projects, Knowledge and experience in JIRA software, Knowledge and experience in Git version control system, Knowledge and experience in UNIXLinux operating systems, Experience in virtualization technology, Experiences in procurement of industrial activities.
