Major organisations are now using its networks for cellular backhaul, IP trunking, complex government and enterprise networks and video services, as well as broadband. Inmarsats Broadband Global Area Network BGAN System offers high availability packet switched services, circuit switched services and value added services using a fleet of Lband satellites. A large and varied portfolio of mobile satellite terminals specialized for Maritime, Aeronautical and Land applications deliver services to subscribers. Inmarsat also provides a global service to handsets called GSPS. BGAN products and services are regularly enhanced and optimized to meet new subscriber requirements. In August 2010, Inmarsat announced a US1.2 billion investment in a new constellation of three Kaband satellites and supporting ground infrastructure. This new network, Global Xpress GX, will deliver seamless global coverage, unprecedented broadband speeds and offer unparalleled access to myriad application and entertainment services to Inmarsat partners and subscribers. As a member of the Enterprise Product Service PS team, the successful candidate will lead internal and external stakeholders in the development, implementation, integration, and worldwide deployment of both Lband and GX products and services to Enterprise markets. This Product Management role encompasses leading and managing critical elements of the Enterprise PS portfolio leading to successful launch, including the requirements process and integration of partner systems and applications. A track record of working with distributed teams and meeting established deadlines for program milestones are essential, as well as experience delivering network solutions to the Enterprise market. Preference will be given to candidates with indepth experience in mobile satellite communications SATCOM similar to Inmarsat Lband BGAN offerings.
