The role will support the development and successful delivery of cybersecurity services for Space. This position is focused on ensuring the governance, project framework and schedule are adhered to, managing the priorities, multiple subcontractors, resourcing and budget to ensure risks are mitigated and the client is more than satisfied. Identifies opportunities to increase the revenue or profitability by expanding the services of the project or facilitating new business through further projects. Participates to internal project and business review meetings. Drives performance in the team, enabling development opportunities for team members and nurturing key talent. Reflects and acts on lessons learned, shares experiences and learns from other Project Managers in the group. Skills and Experience University level qualification preferably in an Engineering, IT, Science or Mathematics discipline. Recognised Project or Service Management qualification ITIL, Prince 2 or PMI certifications for Project Management or Risk Management would be well considered. At lest 10 years experience in delivering engineering projects ideally in the Space sector or alternatively Aerospace or Defence. Proven success of projects delivered to the European Space Agency would be preferred. Working Knowledge of ESA ECSS an advantage. Minimum 5 years experience in managing teams, working in cross border, multicultural environments. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken any other European language would be considered as an asset. Experienced in Project Budgeting and forecasting. Competencies Leadership skills successfully coordinate staff and resources whilst implementing and maintaining policy. Building strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationships internally and externally. Agile and distributed decisionmaking using evidence and applying judgement to balance pace, rigour and risk. Solve complex and ambiguous problems using structured thinking and data driven insights.
