Job description For our customer, EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany, we are seeking an experienced Application Software Support Engineer. You will be supporting the maintenance of the Technical Computing Environment TCE and provide support of the users of the environment within the TSS Department Ground Segment Infrastructure Division team. Your responsibilities will be mainly related to the TCE maintenance, further development and the production of software on the TCE. You will provide support to the development and maintenance of the TCE. Your duties will range from maintaining and creating software packages, advice and support for programmers working with the TCE to the proposal of new solutions that are needed to support ongoing developments. This also includes the settingup and implementation of the tools and defining the best practices for software developers and the definition of the future TCE design in close cooperation with the TCE system administrators.
