Location Noordwijk, The Netherlands Job Overview For one of our biggest clients the European Space Agency in Noordwijk The Netherlands, we are currently recruiting for an IT Technician to provide IT support for Apple or Windows devices. For a longterm, onsite position, we are looking for an IT Support Technician, to provide IT support for Apple or Windows devices in an enterprise environment. Tasks Responsibilities In this role, your responsibilities will be mainly 1st and 2nd level call resolution on location andor remotely in the following areas Windows OS based client devices Windows 7, Windows 10 Mac OS based client devices Mobile phones and smartphones IBM Notes Network and local printing facilities Specific Corporate Applications 1st, 2nd and 3rd line networking LAN, WiFi Approved client applications i.e. SAP, Adobe, MS Office, Encryption tools, etc. Evaluating, categorizing and logging users requests and problems and proactively follow up these requests to ensure timely resolution of the Delivery and deployment of new workstations PCs laptops and maintenance and replacement of existing workstations, as well as other systems like mobile devices and printers Maintain, update and integrate Knowledge Base DB, procedures and working instructions Assisting and advising the user community in the technical and functional use of the Clients Corporate services and applications. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on either Apple or Windows systems and on mobile platforms Minimum level of education is Bachelor degree in Computer science or related subjects Apple or Microsoft certifications Enthusiastic and motivated team member Knowledge of IBM notes client platform is an asset Proactive and customerfocused mindset Work experience in an international environment is considered an advantage Willingness to occasionally work outside regular office hours Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU. Tasks and Responsibilities 1. Support, preparation and implementation of communication campaigns for human and robotic exploration missions in cooperation with Country Desks, Media Relations and the Newsroom 2. Support and implement Human Exploration Mission PR campaigns 3. Support the execution of media and institutional partnerships related to ESA astronauts 4. Position Reference 125 RHEA Group is currently recruiting a Software Engineer to support our Ground Segment Solutions and MOIS team in both RHEA Group and ESOC premises in Darmstadt, Germany. You will be working closely with RHEAs Development Team in Darmstadt on a number of major software enhancements that aim to widen the scope of our Software products and integrate the latest technologies. RHEA Groups MOIS product is an integrated set of software tools for spacecraft test and mission operation procedure preparation and execution. It is used by ESA on all current and upcoming missions and is also provided as a commercial product to the space industry. The software is used for more than 80 satellites. The Ground Segment Solutions team also provides developments in the area of satellite ground segment and operations for different customers in the space industry. Tasks and Activities As a Software Development and Support Engineer, your envisaged tasks and activities include Software development activities for applications and tools in the frame of RHEAs space projects. Providing high quality technical user support to various spacecraft project and mission teams at ESA ESOC. Taking ownership of technical issues, and working closely with the Development Team to resolve more advanced issues where necessary Implementing missionspecific enhancements to the Rheas software products. Proven ability to work within a team. Previous experience working within the space sector will be advantageous.
