Co-sponsored by ANSI and NAM, event was titled "What Do Airplanes, Robots, Toys, Flat Screen TVs, Amusement Parks & 3D Printing Have in Common?" ANSI’s Scott Cooper noted that standards and conformity assessment remain crucial components of technical development, reliability, interoperability, and safety.

Using single Cat5e/6/6a cable, HDBaseT Extenders transmit uncompressed HDMI digital audio and video, RS-232 serial, and IR control signals over long distances. Signal range can be further extended by inserting up to 5 HDBaseT transceivers between transmitter and receiver. This allows users to add monitor at each transceiver and extend signals up to 2,000 ft at UHD 4K (3,840 x 2,160) resolution and up to 3,000 ft at 1080p. Since extenders are plug-and-play, no software or drivers are required.

Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Publish announcements on the ESTEC information screens Maintain and organise a flow of information on the ESTEC intranet page by identifying articles and liaise with the editors and the corporate intranet editor. Support requests from European exhibitions organizers and internal customers related to satellite models, displays and mockups. Keep internal database uptodate. Work closely with transport office and the corporate exhibition team. Identify and organize topics and speakers for ESTEC lectures and internal events Support the communication activities of the ESTEC Communication Office, in particular the Dutch, Belgian and Estonian country desk Assist in Maintaining a dedicated media and VIP management database Convento and work with Meltwatermedia survey platform Carry out regular qualitative research, report on communication activities and produce statistics on media coverage, including social media. Other administrative or organisational tasks, as and when required Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Bachelors degree in communication or equivalent qualification and relevant professional experience in CommunicationsPublic Relations of at least 2 years. Interest in and good understanding of ESA Programmes and related activities. Experience of working within communications or journalism. Very good command of English, both spoken and written. Good command of DutchFlemish andor French is a plus. Experience with social media and in logging and evaluating media coverage desirable.
