Please submit applications not later than 12122015 by EMAIL to Mr. Massimiliano Mazza, Head of Engineering services Satellite Operations M.Mazzavitrocisetbelgium.com cc. jobsvitrocisetbelgium.com Specific Tasks Support the organisation of the ESA Human Behaviour and Performance HBP and Space Analogue training course CAVES Support all administrative aspects of preparation and coordination of complex training events, including ESA Human Behaviour and Performance HBP and Space Analogue training course CAVES, outdoor ESA events like survival training, geological field trips, training events for special groups like Antarctic overwinters, and HBP or Instructor Training Course ITC training events Support to the organisation and administration aspects of preparatory meetings, dry runs and Training Readiness Reviews, as well as debriefings for the a.m. training events Taking minutes and administrative followup of action items from preparation and conduct of the a.m. training events Upload of material and update of course and project information to the Astronaut Training Database ATD modules and web pages related to those events Upload of training courseware information to the ATD Upload of text, pictures and other material to social media associated to those training events Support the followup of planned contributions to blog entries for the ESA event blogs Upload to designated ESA web resources of public materials videos, photos Preparation of administrative material related to special training events according to the ESA training standards Administrative support in the preparation and followup of purchases for the training events Support in the coordination of logistics for event participants flights, equipment, visas, insurance verification, medicals Collection preparation and verification of event communication plans information, including preparation of telephone and email lists Support in the preparation and printing of support materials for the training events and preparatory meetings Support in the creation of event reports Support in the configuration control and organisation of translations of CAVES and HBP documentation in English and Italian Specific Competence Requirements Experience with the organisation of complex events Strong organisation and communication skills Attention to detail, result orientation Good computer skills as a user, including use of templates and update of documents and presentations Willingness to ensure excellence in the preparation and execution of training events with attention to details Willingness to adjust to the demands of challenging activities in a very multicultural and multidisciplinary team Languages fluency with English and Italian is required, the ability to speak Russian or Chinese would be assets

The PRS Technical Support Officer will work closely together with the PRS Technical Officer and shall carry out the tasks that will be assigned to himher, in particular relating with PRS users segment development and PRS pilot project implementation, under the three main activities as follows 1. PRS user segment RD a. Technical support to the preparation of H2020 and Fundamental Elements Calls and contracts on PRS user segment e.g. Receivers and related Security Technologies b. Support to the definition of specifications and instructions for manufacturing PRS equipment, in accordance with the policy of access to PRS defined decision 11042011 c. Contribution to the maintenance of market analysis of PRS Market adoption and GNSS governmental applications 2. Support to Member States and European Commission a. Contribution to the secretariat of GNSS Security Board GNSS SB working groups and support to the preparation of the GNSS SB working group documentation b. Adhoc technical support to Competent PRS Authorities and to Commission on PRS user segment implementation c. Contribute to the PRS user segment documentation preparation and maintenance 3. PRS Pilot Project a. Technical and management support of PRS pilot projects contracts b. Technical support to Programme and Member State PRS pilot projects implementation The position may imply regular travels within Europe and worldwide and might even require extensive periods abroad. The PRS Technical Support Officer shall also upon request contribute to other tasks of the Security Department, as necessary.
