Evaluate Contractors plans, technical specifications and efforts proposed for the execution of SW PA programme. Monitor and evaluate SW PA analyses, reports and technical notes. Participation to project reviews, meetings, Configuration Control Boards, NonconformanceReview Boards and Software Review Boards. Prepare design trade offs, analyses and reports using metrics to support project decisions. Participate to software product evaluations and process assessments. Establish and maintain databases to track NCRs, RFWs, action items etc. as required. Specific Requirements Masters degree in software engineering or computer science with background on space engineering. 10 years of relevant professional work experience. Consultancy Support for EPSSG EndtoEnd Instrument Chains

The keyperson shall have the following experience and background University degree in the domain of engineering, science, or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience in the field of engineering of space andor ground systems, in the area of Earth observation from space. At least 5 years of direct involvement in the development of relevant instruments EPSS satellites will embark sounders and imagers from the ultraviolet to the microwave range, a scatterometer and a radiooccultation instrument andor the related onground processing chain, with an indepth understanding of mutual implications. Good overall knowledge of instruments, the platform environment, processing algorithms, ground segment environment, to the extent relevant for endtoend instrument chains. Demonstrated ability to perform analyses of a System combined space and ground segment top down and to perform syntheses and compile technical budgets bottom up. The following experience would be an additional asset Familiarity with the development of test tools and the generation of test data sets. The keyperson shall be able to fulfil the assigned tasks with a minimum of supervision, have a systematic approach to work, be able to plan hisher work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks. Heshe shall have the capability to write accurate and consistent technical documentation. Good communication skills verbal and written are important. Heshe shall be willing to work in a team of engineers and in cooperation with industry and partner agencies.
