You will play a key role in developing a missioncritical systems for one of the most prestigious space programmes. Your daytoday activities Provide support the Navigation Directorate and especially the Galileo System Unit, including Support the definition of the CLA System Functional test program that shall verify endto end security functions from service facilities such as the GSF to enduser Support the definition of the CLA System Functional specification Test Plan, Test Cases and Test Procedures to demonstrate that the System is behaving as expected in a realistic operational setting. Support the definition of the test Plan that describes the System endtoend test scenarios and presents the approach for System Requirements Verification and Validation. Support preparation for the test execution Support Test Report Preparation Things you need to be successful Hold a passport of one of the EU countries University degree MSc minimum in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent, as well as experience in these fields. Specific knowledge in the safety engineering. Knowledge of space and ground systems architecture. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support for projects in the evaluation and monitoring of plans, technical specifications, and efforts proposed for the execution of the dependability and safety programs. Evaluation of dependability and safety analyses, technical notes, technical risk assessments, risk reduction processes, and the associated preventive or corrective actions. Support the collection and exploitation of Inorbit data. Support RD activities e.g. TRP, GSP, GSTP, CDs Dossiers, etc.. Contribute to continual improvement of the RAMS methods and tools. Support preparation of training courses and materials as well as organizations of conferences and workshops. Defining and controlling the implementation of the applicable dependability and safetyrelated acceptance requirements including risk acceptance criteria. Support dependability and safety verification activities, including hazard closeout and disposition of related NCR, RFW, and Critical Items. Participating in project reviews to assess compliance with the applicable RAMS requirements and to formulate acceptreject recommendations. Knowledge of RTCADO178C Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification and related certification schemes, and experience in interfacing certification authorities. Knowledge of EU Safety Directive as Directive 9837EC Machinery, Directive 9992EC Risk from Explosive Atmospheres, Directive 9723EC Pressure Equipment and other safety directives relevant for space.
