ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY As the Engineer, Satcom Operations you will be working in the Operations Services Engineering group and will be responsible for the implementation and operational support of cuttingedge global products and services. The engineer will gain a broad knowledge of the SES product range as well as SES global core infrastructure. The primary objective of this role is to ensure SESs customers are provided the highest quality service throughout their lifecycle. ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Spacecraft Engineer, Payload Subsystem will be part of the Payload Engineering team, leading payload inorbit operations and the design and implementation of innovative operational solutions for the SES fleet. In this position, our engineers will support satellite mission operations, enhance our performance monitoring and analysis toolkits, and contribute to dynamic endtoend design solutions. In our team, engineers develop and operate new payload missions, design contingency scenarios for satellite resiliency, and support new spacecraft procurement, launch and inobit test characterization. Over time, each team member builds a custom skillset and expertise, across a wide technical breadth, to make an impacting contribution to the success of our missions. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESULTS AREAS Monitor health status and provide oncall support for satellites in operation, including recovery and followup of eventual spacecraft offlimit conditions, anomalies and service interruptions Ensure Customer satisfaction in line with SLA terms and maximize satellite fleet availability and longevity Support procedure development of payload mission of the current and upcoming satellites. ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Gateway Infrastructure Engineer is a key member of the SES Technology Ground Infrastructure team providing expertise in the Ordertofulfilment domain, mainly Service Design and Operations at SES GEOMEO Gateways. The engineers activities will include the active collection as well as definition of technical requirements and processes for implementing Service platforms. This comprises interface management as well as coordination across multiple internal teams and customers. A further part of the role as a part of GW Infrastructure team is to manage, troubleshoot and operate GW Infrastructure together with system vendors and 3rd party contractors. These shall include Site Infrastructure, Antenna RF Subsystems, ModemPlatforms installed worldwide at SES Gateways. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESULT AREAS Design, specify and implement services Data Video at SES Gateway and Teleport locations for High Throughput satellites, Wide beam GEO satellites and MEO satellites and other missions. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Contribute to the technical management of the system and segment infrastructure activities, with a particular focus on security aspects e.g. security risk treatment, accreditation, ....
