It is a permanent full time position and with an immediate start date. About the Position We are looking for a senior engineer skilled in the development of systems with the Eclipse RCP platform. You will work in projects developing, extending and maintaining different tools based on the Eclipse RCP platform for our space clients. The tools support the engineering, preparation and operations of satellite missions. Besides Eclipse RCP the main technologies are Eclipse EMF, Java Spring or similar Dependency Injection frameworks as well as testing frameworks such as JUnit. The frontends are based on JFaceSWT for Eclipse RCP or other technologies as they fit, such as Angular. The development environment includes GitGitLab and Maven. The work is done in close collaboration with end users. Internally you will be part of an expert team who together evolve our Eclipse RCP capabilities and expertise. As a senior engineer you will help form the team spirit, training and mentoring more junior engineers. To remain a specialist you will attend workshops and conferences related to the field.
