System Accreditation Engineer

Randstad Italia Inhouse Services is currently recruiting a System Accreditation Engineer for a highprofile international client based in Frascati RM. The postholder will support the Head of the Security Office in following the system security accreditation development lifecycle with the mandate to Guide and recommend to the ProgrammesProjects in the area of Security Management, Security Risk Management, Controls and Countermeasures with respect to the applicability of the Security Regulations and Directives Generate and review the High Level Project Security Risk Assessment and review the detailed Security Risk Assessment for each relevant Milestone of the ProjectProgramme Contribute to definition of the minimum set of Security Requirements to grant the level of assurance of the Mission in terms of availability, integrity and confidentiality of the information, based on the outcome of the security risk analysis and the review of existing project documentation Review the relevant documentation, in terms of the System Security Requirements, the System Security Design and its achievement of the Mission Requirements to an appropriate level of protection Monitor the correct implementation of the systemsegment, security measures, design, and qualification, with the target to control, or decrease, the residual risk of the configurations of the systems to be deployed Support the AccreditationCertification process during the complete lifecycle for the Project, collating the certificationaccreditation files to be submitted to the CertificationAccreditation bodies. Specific competence requirements to apply Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience in working on complex engineering systems in an engineering andor security risk management capacity Security Risk Management i.e. security risk assessment, analysis or response of INFOSEC systems Satellite systems, design and development Security from the perspective of secure development, secure evaluationtest, security audit or security accreditation Implementation of security with Information Security standards such as ISO27000 series Cyber Security risk evaluation, mitigation or response operational or development Security Threat Intelligence and Security Threat Modelling techniques and uses Technical expertise in System Engineering Technical expertise in Design and Development, system endtoend Preferably the above mentioned experience should be in the space sector, or other complex fields such as telecommunications, critical national infrastructure or the military domain Knowledge of the Space Accreditation and Certification process Experience in cyber risk assessment, hardening or operational response for complex engineering systems is desirable Proficiency in the English language spoken and written Knowledge of other Member States languages would be an asset Knowledge of EU policiesregulationsinstitutions would be advantageous. Applicants should have a Master degree in a relevant discipline and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, ability to work under pressure, both autonomously and as part of a team within the boundaries of assigned tasks. The successful candidates will be offered a very competitive contract and salary package.

Position Reference 609 For an exciting project in the domain of Low Orbit satellite engineering activities, we are currently looking for an experienced Satellite Operations Design Engineer, for a role that can be carried in different beautiful cities of Italy, including Rome, Milan, Pisa or in Southern Italy. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include the following tasks Satellite Operations Design definition, including specifications, planification and validation for Earth Observation missions. Definition of commissioning and operations plan of EO projects. Evaluation of Space to Ground interface specifications and flight operations manuals. Participation in the operational interface definition between the platform and payload systems and also between the ground segment and the satellite simulator. Production and thorough update of the corresponding operations documentation and flight procedures. VV activities planification and coordination. Support to the training and improvement plans for the Ground Segment team Satellite oncall support coordination and anomalies monitoring. Skills and Experience You have the following skills and experience A University degree in Aerospace, Space Studies, Sciences, Aeronautical Engineering, or other relevant disciplines More than 5 years of experience in satellite operations design engineering for Low Earth Orbit LEO space missions Proven experience in operational validation, commissioning or routine operations phases Experience with SCOS2000 based mission control centers Experience in managing complex space operations Experience in coordinating a team of SC controllers Participation in satellite performance monitoring, anomaly analysis and solving Knowledge of Satellite Ground Segment facility development Strong teamwork capabilities and good interpersonal skills Proven reporting and communication skills A proactive and problemsolving mindset Excellent level of spoken and written English knowledge of Italian is an asset. You will work in projects developing, extending and maintaining different tools based on the Eclipse RCP platform for our space clients. The tools support the engineering, preparation and operations of satellite missions. Besides Eclipse RCP the main technologies are Eclipse EMF, Java Spring or similar Dependency Injection frameworks as well as testing frameworks such as JUnit. The frontends are based on JFaceSWT for Eclipse RCP or other technologies as they fit, such as Angular. The development environment includes GitGitLab and Maven. The work is done in close collaboration with end users. Internally you will be part of an expert team who together evolve our Eclipse RCP capabilities and expertise. As a senior engineer you will help form the team spirit, training and mentoring more junior engineers. To remain a specialist you will attend workshops and conferences related to the field.
