The Key Person should be used to working proactively within team and being able to work with the minimum of supervision. The variety of the tasks and the scope and complexity of the systems to be supported require a high degree of autonomy and good analytical skills. The tasks assigned to the Key Person will be agreed through dedicated workpackages with clear identification of activities and outputs expected. During critical operational periods or following major maintenance upgrades, the engineer will also be required to provide on call support as part of a team of ground station engineers. In the performance of these tasks, the Key Person shall apply the EUMETSAT configuration and change control procedures as well as the relevant system engineering standards, quality management procedures and maintenance procedures.
