In order to support our continuous development in the Space market, we are looking for educated engineer with a degree in informaticsmathematicsphysics. Responsibilities Duties The candidate will participate to all aspects of the software life cycle from design through development, support and reengineering, validation and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high quality reliable software to satisfy our demanding customers. The systems are primarily Linux based, developed in C and Java, and involve recent new architecture and technologies. English documentation and effective support to customer onsite is also required. Initially the candidate will be employed as software engineer. There is the possibility to evolve into a position of team leading. QualificationsExperience University Degree in informaticsmathematics physics A strong experience in software development and maintenance is required, ideally at least two years of software development involving requirements analysis, design, development using the C and Java programming languages, testing, and documentation. Essential Skills C and Java programming languages Source Code Control System SVN or Git Development on Linux systems Basic Linux system administration, shell scripts, make, gcc, debugging Eclipse IDE Fluency in spoken and written English Desirable Skills Software design using UML Eclipse RAP RCP Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Gerrit Space related standards like the ECSS standards for space software development.
