These positions are long term contracts offering a competitive rate. For assignment to the project Meteosat Third Generation the AIT department is looking for the Electrical Test Lead for the satellites and development models. Your Tasks Definition of the tests to be performed in the frame of the verification process in agreement with engineering and the verification manager Time and resource planning of the tests to be performed Inclusion of the electrical test activities of the full AIT process in agreement with the AIT manager Presentation of the test concepts towards the customer, focal point of contact for the customer regarding electrical testing As the Technical Lead for the project group of test engineers you are responsible for Execution of electrical tests on platform and satellite level interface tests, functional tests, performance tests AOCS, Power, TTR, Onboard Data Handling OBDH as well as support for payload testing Documentation of tests, preparation of test reports Test preparation of hardware configuration of item under test Preparation of test procedures Your Qualification Degree in electrical engineering, space technology, information technology or comparable qualification Substantiated knowledge in more than one of the following areas attitude control, power subsystems, TTR or OBDH Experience in use of EGSE and electrical measurement tools At least five years of experience in testing on satellite or subsystem level Leadership skills, which ideally can be proven by your experience in former employments Welldeveloped communication skills, used to work in a team Sense of responsibility and an effective way of working Fluent in Written and Spoken English language skills

ATG Europe is currently looking for an Electrical Lead Systems Engineer, specialized in satellite system engineering, to be deployed as a staff member at our customers location in Munich, Germany. Our client is one of the top players in the European space technology industry offering solutions for satellites, complex scientific instruments and space missions. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical architecture of an instrument satellite throughout its whole product life cycle beginning with its definition, ensuring its proper implementation and finally the provision of inorbit support. Good knowledge of general specifications ECSS MIL standards at system level for general electrical requirements, EMC requirements, mechanical and thermal interfaces and requirements, radiation environment High interest to dig into the details of technical aspects in various domains Organized and structured task approach, high degree of motivation and personal identification with the respective task and project Strong focus on reaching progress by thinking and communicating in terms of solutions, ability to reach goals also under schedule pressure Willingness for intensive travel Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English. One of our space clients based in the UK is looking for a Lead AIT Engineer this is a permanenet postion and will involve all phases of planning, control and execution of Payload or Spacecraft level AIT EVT activities during the mission ground test phase. Job Description Working as part of the spacecraft mission team to progress the Spacecraft or Payload through the in house Assembly, Integration Test process and external Environmental Test Phase. Key Tasks Work as a key member of the Core Project team, with the Project manager, AIT Manager and Systems Engineer to deliver fully tested payload and spacecraft. Manage test operators and responsible engineers activities on the payload or spacecraft in line with system level schedules and requirements, deputising these roles when required Provide documentation and present at design, test and project reviews for both internal and external audiences. Facilitate and schedule for core AIT support equipment Electrical Ground Support Equipment. Mechanical Ground Support Equipment. Test equipment definition. Spacecraft and payload harness definition. Ground Test cable definition. Facilitate and schedule all AIT and EVT phase activities. AIT Unit Integration and Test AIT System Integration and Test. EVT test campaigns and logistics Implement. Requirements of this post are to hold, or have held in the last 5 years, an EU based personal Security clearance and to be a citizen of one of the member states of the European Union or the Schengen association countries Experience Working with spaceflight hardware, including integrated system testing at spacecraft level. Detailed test planning and scheduling. Working with verification validation of requirements. Experience of managing test teams in very dynamic environments. Experience working with high power Navigation or Communications payloads would be advantageous. Good understanding of scripting and operation of EGSE systems advantageous. Good software and database knowledge C, Visual Basic, Labview, PHP, Javascript and MySQL. Good general electrical electronics background. Knowledge and understanding of material usage in spaceflight environment. Hands on knowledge and experience of electronic test equipment usage including RF communications Knowledge Skills. Proactive problem solver with drive to chase issues through to their conclusion. Practical and proven handson abilities for both flight build as well as ground and development test activities. Ability to manage larger work packages or projects and associated resourcing, planning and facility negotiations. Good team working skills, together with the ability to interface with others at all levels. Demonstrable strong attention to detail and ensuring that the finished subsystemssystems will function as designed. Strong judgment skill in order to work independently and effectively in ambiguous situations. Familiar with Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel along with proficiency in use of Microsoft Project. Good communication and presentation skills. Must be prepared to work irregular hours, weekends and shifts. A flexible, pragmatic attitude to work, planning and interactions with others is required along with a well developed sense of humour irony.
