RHEA is currently recruiting a Ground Data Systems Infrastructure Application Engineer to be based at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Definition of test environment and test data Manual execution of an agreed subset of regression testing Definition and execution of automated regression testing Definition and execution of validation test cases for a given release Generation of test reports using the relevant support tools Verification of proper implementation of software changes fixes and upgrades Troubleshooting of problems identified in the course of the validation activities Support to the infrastructure and customer mission teams to troubleshoot problems Support to the Technical Officer for the preparation of the Software Review Board meetings Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Service provision will be exclusively in English Wellorganised, able to prioritise and manage several activities in parallel Familiarity with the relevant ground data systems applications and associated test environment Familiarity with the relevant programmingscripting languages e.g. C, Java, Python The following skills would be highly desirable Experience in working in an operational environment Familiarity with the ESOC working environment and Quality Management System QMS Knowledge of satellite or ground operations, or nonspace operational environments How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
