We are currently looking for a Communication and Networks System Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Communications and Network Systems Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Communications and Networks Systems Team, you will have the following responsibilities Specification and definition of networking needs for LANWAN systems Analysis of infrastructure, specification of consolidated requirements Identification, extractioncollection, analysis consolidation of required data flows and specification of their characteristics Specification of network solutions, scope, highlevel design justification, detailed description of logical and physical design incl. redundancy behaviour Engineering and maintenance of current insitu networks on a 247 basis Design, development and provision of LAN, WAN and related security systems Outofhours scheduled maintenance service activities. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant engineering discipline Cisco or similar certification IP network design, specification, testing, fault finding, and evolution Indepth knowledge of Cisco design methodologies, technologies and solutions Virtualisation technologies and deployment e.g. SDNs Security e.g. firewalls, VPN, intrusion preventiondetection, authentication Network performance monitoring at network and system level Familiarity with IP based Telephony Systems would be an advantage ITIL and direct experience in change and configuration management Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German language is an advantage.
