Description As support to the JUICE Mission, you will have the opportunity to provide a functional and operation support to the Prime AIT team for Data Management System DMS Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Functional testing in the domain of DMS at PF, instruments and SC levels, CSW loading and testing of DMS mechanisms, MissionFDIR with CSW version V3 EGSE support for CCS, EGSE support for SIMAIT, EGSE support for TMTC FrontEnd, EGSE support covers support to the first installation, for EGSE delivered after KickOff of this contract, which means SIMFE, PWR scoe, validation at first delivery, or after moving or upgrading EGSE, configuration management, maintenance, upgrades when necessary. Management population, maintenance of the JUICE database for specific AIT needs i.e. scoe parameters, specific monitoring parameters, management of forbidden telecommands, after handover with Airbus experts. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in satellite AIT activities at platform or payload level You have an extensive experience in the overall functional tests process Understanding functional test specifications Production of test concepts and automated test scripts Execution and debugging of test sequences You have good programming skills You have a good knowledge in UNIXLinuxWindows usage and administration You have a strong knowledge of automated test environment and able to manipulate EGSE SCOE You have experience of working in the ISO 5 clean room environment You have the ability to work both autonomously and in an embedded AIT team You are fluent in English written and spoken You have a good understanding of French or German is an asset How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level? In order to support our customer EUMETSAT in performing the Sentinel3 mission, we are looking for an experienced System Operations Engineer to support the routine phases of the Sentinel3A and the upcoming Sentinel3B mission with a launch scheduled for the 25th April 2018. Responsibilities Duties In general, different activities in support to the Sentinel3 Ground Segment Operations and Operations Preparation, focusing on the Payload Data Ground Segment PDGS, shall be performed at our customer EUMETSAT Definition and production modification of the ground mission data set, covering operations documentation sets, in cooperation with the facility and domain experts. Definition and implementation of the procedure tree Operations System Validation of the Ground Segment Support the definition of the operations interfaces with external entities Raising and tracking of Anomaly Reports, which includes investigations into spacecraft payload ground segment anomalies and regression testing of associated fixes Support to Space Segment and Ground Segment operations and operations preparation e.g. in case of calibration campaigns, special satellite operations, rehearsal and training, etc. Support to Space and Ground Segment mission operations data production and validation Interaction with ESA ESOC during LEOP and Satellite InOrbit Validation operations for S3B Interaction with ESA ESRIN and their partners for PDGS Commissioning operations Furthermore, operations engineering support to the PDGS IVV activities, interactions between PDGS Marine, Core Ground Stations CGS, Land Processing and Archiving Centres PACs, and the Mission Performance Centre MPC will part of this position. Summary An opportunity for an experienced Satellite System Engineer to assist in Payload Data Ground Systems Engineering and Management Support on site at ESTEC for Telespazio VEGA UK. Objective To support the Earth Observation Directorate at ESTEC by assisting the ESA Payload Data Ground Segment Project Manager, the PDGS Operations Manager and the Mission Managers in design, implementation, integration, validation, commissioning and operations activities for Earth Observation Satellites Sentinel 1,2,3 5p. Responsibilities Duties Duties will include but are not limited to Engineering Support for Sentinel2 in the fields of End to End operations support for the assessment and coordination of operational contract deliverables End to End support for the evolutions and maintenance of system architecture and associated subsystems Support for the mission planning operations. MultiSentinel ground segment engineering support, addressing e.g. Acquisition Stations, Processing and Long Term Archiving Centres for the assessment and coordination of operational contract deliverables. Web technologies prototyping, evaluation and Sentinels mission expert for the rapid prototyping of new software interfaces. Qualifications Experience University degree MSc minimum in Aerospace Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline. At least 10 years relevant industrial experience. Solid experience in satellite system engineering, spacecraft development projects, equipmentsubsystem procurement, Assembly, Integration and Test andor commissioning is essential. Good experience in satellite operations is a strong asset. Experience in leading a team and coordination experience is essential. Essential Skills Good English language skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to present and effectively communicate quality system processes. Good organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse team environment. Leadership skills.
