Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Assess the consistency of new Technology activitiesplans with Harmonised Roadmaps and Conclusions. Support the update of the database, based on information obtained in the context of the Harmonisation Tracking System and contributions from ESA Member State Delegations Maintain the Industry Capability Mapping database tables and reports Support both the organisation and running of the Harmonisation Mapping and Roadmapping meetings Support both the organisation and running of the endtoend technology management process, including monitoring and evaluation functions, the Technology Observatory and TECNET meetings Maintain the ESA Technology Tree and ESA Generic Product Tree Analyse past harmonisation to generate statistics Prepare content for the HarmonisationTEC Webpage based on information obtained in the context of the Harmonisation Tracking System. Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience A university degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline. At least 4 years of relevant work experience. A background in a wide range of technologies relevant to space and technology development. Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary technical environment Rigor, commitment and reliability in the execution of the assigned tasks and capacity to identify priority actions. Familiarity with electronics office automation tools e.g. Microsoft Office suite, including Access and techniques, electronic mailing, customised databases. Tasks The activities for this position will cover Operation Preparation definition and coordination tasks focusing System Operation aspects. Qualifications and Requirements In addition to having a University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, the Key person shall have a demonstrated experience of at least five years in the field of Spacecraft Operations with specific experience as follow Expertise in space to ground interface and end to end system dataflow ensuring mission data availability to end users. Good system knowledge of the main functional elements of a ground system which are used for the monitoring and control of a satellite. Spacecraft monitor and control operations on SCOS based system. Experience in the operation or development of satellite ground segment facilities, in particular procedure development, monitor and control, mission planning, onboard software management, performance analysis, configuration management and simulator facilities. As already experienced key role in the definition and the validation of specific operation preparation phases such as SSVT, validation campaigns or rehearsals. Operation development life cycle and Operation Preparation environment such as procedure editor and databases management tools. Specification of system and operational concepts, facility requirements and external operational interfaces management. Furthermore, it would be a distinct advantage for the Key person to have experience with some of the following Inorbit System operations of Low Earth Orbit Earth Observation satellites.
