Main responsibilities Tasks and Responsibilities The key persons activity will cover the following Preparation and successful participation in the Columbus FCT Basic and EPIC training for certification as COMET Familiarization with the operating procedures of the Columbus Control Centre Mission planning for the operation of the Columbus module ColCC shifts as COMET position Operational planning as COMET in realtime environment coordination planning with users centers, Flight Control Team and NASA planners Preparation of mission operations as Columbus EPIC Scientific development and preparation of new increments with new payloads and experiments or new system hardware in Columbus. The preparation is carried out, focusing on the Columbus subsystems considering the ColCC facilities and the overall system Operational planning as EPIC in preparation Administration of operational procedures for ISS crew and ground teams Payload Operations preparation with focus on planning Monitoring of operational concepts of new experiments Support of Ops product creation by the user centers in compliance with the interfaces to the Columbus System Analysis of Airbus D S, ESA and NASA reference documentation and implementation in ColCC relevant procedures and tools, and updating databases Harmonization and optimization of interfaces for ESA and NASA under operational aspects and the necessary cost Mission analysis by offline data collection, analysis and reporting across projects tasks such as participation in trials. Ideal candidate Requirements You should bring a Master Degree in the field of Physics or Aerospace Engineering or another relevant field, and 2 to 4 years of previous relevant work experience. Additionally, you should have Very good interpersonal skills Very good knowledge of English Willingness to work rotating day shifts. Overview The post holder tasks as Project Coordinator will consist in Coordinating the execution of infrastructure projects in line with sound project management principles and with the ESA applicable procedures Providing technical and administrative assistance to the ESA ESTEC Infrastructure Section disciplines engineers civil, electrical, mechanical Collecting functional customer requirements covering technical facilities Drafting technical specification and tender documents Supporting the procurement process between ESA ESTEC Infrastructure section and ESA ESTEC Contract Office. Possible procurement methods can be any of the following open tender competition between preselected companies frame contractors purchase order and direct negotiation. Supporting ESA staff in the procurement process and in the technical evaluation of offers Supporting ESA staff in the control of project schedule, cost, supervision of works, communication with stakeholders, prduction of reports.
