We are currently looking for a Technical Coordination Management Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Technical Coordination Management Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Communication with international Galileo Project partners SPO, Segments, Elements with focus on GCCD hosting topics Autonomous coordination of different tasks under consideration of risk and resource management Analysis of requirement changes in the domain of GCCD hosting from ESAGSA and development of proposals for implementation Coordination of integration of provisions into GCC CFI Attendance of meetings and workshops in English language Planning of infrastructural aspects for future extensions of IT systems, control rooms and data wiring Coordination and support of implementation of smallscale projects in collaboration with technical teams Support of the project management in reporting, statistical analysis of tickets and editing of incident reports Compiling of documents regarding the hosting project Support of the project management in compiling of proposals in the domain infrastructure Becoming familiar with hosting requirements and KPI. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Engineering or similar area Experiences in collaboration with international industrial partners Experiences in project management and functional leading of technical teams under economical aspects Work experiences in HW integration at customers side Space business and ECSS work experiences would be an asset ITIL and project management certificates would be an asset Fluency in English and German is mandatory. Multidisciplinary Project Coordination

Specific Tasks This position covers the provision of electrical, mechanical, civil and maintenance engineering support to the ECSAT Site Manager. It relates to management support of an outsourced performance based FM hard services contract covering the maintenance and operation of the ECSAT site, as well as support to small projects in the civil, mechanical and electrical domains. The post holder will be responsible for the following activities, but not limited to Supervision, review and quality control of the annual preventive maintenance plan as prepared and performed by the outsourced Maintenance Company operation on site Supervision and quality control of the preventive and corrective maintenance activities performed by contractor companies on site, and assessing the quality of the performed works against the agreed quality levels Provision of support for the project management related to the Facilities Management domain o Preparation of the technical description of the work to be performed o Launching the procurement process via tender or purchase in collaboration with the procurementcontract team in ESA o Support to the bid evaluation and negotiation o Technical, Financial and timeline monitoring of the implementation phase Active support to the investigation and analysis of technical failures, identification of corresponding technical solutions and participation to the quality control of the implemented remedial actions. The project coordinator shall the be responsible for the implementation phase o Organisation, monitoring and followup of the work. o Cost control of the projects according to ESA budgets. o Delivery of the project according to ESA Acceptance Procedures. Heshe provides ESAESTEC with warnings of serious deviations or variations that may compromise project results. Requirements Proven record in ensuring project cost control. Good knowledge of ESTEC Site and Infrastructure needed to perform activities in satellite tests and laboratories, and a good planning and organisational skills, team spirit and ability to work in an international environment. Ability to work with the following software packages MicroSoft XP operating system, CIFM based on Archibus software, MS Word, Access, Excel and Projects, Lotus Notes. Good interpersonal and communication skills and a talent for negotiating and problem solving. They must have proven ability to work effectively to meet deadlines under demanding circumstances in an environment of diverse cultures. Experience of ESA tender rules procedures and international procurement technology would be an asset.
