One of our space clients in Northern Ireland is looking for a Programme Manager as a permanent position. Scope of the Role Responsible for the mobilisation of project activities for our client. Establish an appropriate Programme Process within client Flexibility, Customer requirements, corporate requirements. Manage the project delivery with internal team and subcontractors. Work with the Engineering and delivery team to ensure activities are compliant with customer requirements. Support the preparation of Bids and Proposals in terms of estimates and project delivery plans. Represent our client at customer reviews presenting on a diverse range of activities. Establish Project baselines Cost and Schedule and KPIs, manage delivery within budget and report performance on regular basis. Prepare synthesised reports for senior management. Represent our client at various related forums. Establish appropriate contract mechanisms for subcontractors, partners, and inter divisional work. Manage the activities of the subcontractors. Establish and manage the project risk. The role will be based in Northern Ireland and involve travel within Europe and USA on a less frequent basis. The job holder will report to the Managing Director. Candidate Experience and Attributes Must have a demonstrable intimate working understanding of the European Aerospace industry, preferably in the area of satellite hardware. A proven track record of establishing PM processes in an organisation. Managed diverse teams to deliver effective solutions within budget. Worked as part of a small team to deliver outstanding results. Able to work autonomously. Negotiated effective contracts with suppliers. To have managed project risk. Represented the organisation and presented to senior forums. Demonstrate ability in building key customer and supplier relationships. Supported the preparation of winning proposals. Must be an EU citizen qualified to work in Europe. Must have a third level qualification or equivalent in an engineering or related discipline.
