NEMA published NEMA EVSE 1.2-2015 EV Charging Network Interoperability Standard Part 2: A Contactless RFID Credential for Authentication (UR Interface). Standard describes protocol for authenticating electric vehicle charging service requests using contactless proximity radio frequency identification–type credentials. Authentication provides assurance to EV charging network that EV driver is the correct authorized party incurring a financial or other obligation for services to be rendered.

NEMA has published NEMA TC 14-2015 series of standards: NEMA TC 14.AG-2015 Aboveground Reinforced Thermosetting Resin Conduit (RTRC) and Fittings, NEMA TC 14.BG-2015 Belowground Reinforced Thermosetting Resin Conduit and Fittings, and NEMA TC 14.XW-2015 Extra Heavy Wall Aboveground Reinforced Thermosetting Resin Conduit and Fittings. Standards are adoptions of UL 2515, UL 2420, and UL 2515A respectively. They separate requirements for RTRC and fittings to align with these UL standards.
