YOUR TASKS Together with the IVQ Team the IVQ Engineer will be responsible to prove the qualification status of the Galileo Ground Mission Segment GMS and the Galileo Security Facility GSF towards the customer. The tasks will include Installation, integration and configuration of software and hardware deliveries Identification and followup of system anomalies arising from test and integration activities Generation of test procedures based on system requirements Execution of tests in formal conditions witnessed by end customer Production of test documentation including results and evidences Preparation of and participation of test readiness reviews with the customer Contribution to, maintenance and extension of test environment and tools Support onsite integration and test in the Galileo Control Centers in Fucino Italy and Oberpfaffenhofen Germany YOUR PROFILE Essential requirements Degree in Engineering Engineering Sciences, Computer Science or equivalent Proven experience in design and development of medium and large hardware and software systems Experience in integration and verification testing of medium and large hardware and software systems Network expertise for configuration, architecture and analysis in a Linux or LynxOS environment, TCPIP protocols, firewall and switch configuration and management Proven knowledge in scripting languages Java Script, bash and Python Practical experience with database systems as MySQL, PostgreSQL or MariaDB Experience in setup, modification and usage of computer hardware and virtualization Ability to work independently as well as part of a multicultural team Ability to assess the technical environment, identify problems and propose solutions Fluent in English and German spoken and written Willingness to travel Desirable requirements Experience in classified systems verification Software engineering and programming in CC WE OFFER With SCISYS you get the chance to take responsibility for your own and varied professional activities, while there is always room for producing new ideas and contributing your personality.
