586 ABNT20 KNHC 081729 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 200 PM EDT Sat Sep 8 2018 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Florence, located over the central Atlantic Ocean, on Tropical Storm Helene, located roughly a couple of hundred miles east- southeast of the Cabo Verde Islands, and on Tropical Depression Nine, located over the eastern Atlantic. A trough of low pressure is generating disorganized showers over the western Atlantic near Bermuda. Significant development of this system is unlikely due to increasingly strong upper-level winds over the next few days while the trough moves little. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent. A non-tropical area of low pressure is forecast to form in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean several hundred miles west-southwest of the Azores in a few days. 198 ABPZ20 KNHC 081109 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 AM PDT Sat Sep 8 2018 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Olivia, located about 1200 miles east of Hilo, Hawaii. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a low pressure system located about 600 miles south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula continue to show signs of organization, and it appears that a tropical depression could be forming. If this trend continues, then advisories would be initiated on this system later today. Showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure located about 600 miles south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula have become better organized today.
