000 ABNT20 KNHC 130524 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 200 AM EDT Sat Jul 13 2019 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Barry, located just south of the Louisiana coast. Shower activity has become slightly more organized during the past several hours in association with a tropical wave located about midway between the Cabo Verde Islands and the Windward Islands. Development, if any, of the wave is expected to be slow to occur during the next few days while the system moves westward at 15 to 20 mph. If current trends continue, advisories will likely be initiated later today. This system is expected to move toward the west-northwest at 10 to 15 mph, well offshore the coast of Mexico. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...80 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...80 percent. A tropical wave located more than 1500 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is producing disorganized cloudiness and showers.
