000 ABNT20 KNHC 082315 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 800 PM EDT Mon Jul 8 2019 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: A trough of low pressure located over south-central Georgia is producing disorganized showers. This disturbance is expected to move southward or southwestward during the next day or two, and a broad area of low pressure is forecast to form over the northeastern Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for development and a tropical depression is likely to form by the end of the week while the low moves slowly westward across the northern Gulf of Mexico. Regardless of whether or not a tropical cyclone develops, this system has the potential to produce heavy rainfall along portions of the northern and eastern U.S. Gulf Coast later this week. An area of low pressure could develop several hundred miles south of the coast of southern Mexico in a few days.
