Exports from India and Pakistan have been negatively affected, as a result, whereas Vietnam emerged as a key player on the market, as both a supplier and a buyer. Yarn prices have continued slightly declining in China, ahead of the first sales from cotton state reserves and amid lower polyester fiber prices. Yarn imports have remained relatively strong in May, as reflected by our statistical data. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Domestic and import yarn prices are compared. Historical data are available for download.

Publix Super Markets officially bringing store to New Bern

According to Publix Media and Community Relations Manager Kim Reynolds, a lease was executed recently for the new store location. NewsChannel 12 reported in January that the New Bern Board of Aldermen's announcement of Publix's plans to open a store in New Bern.
